As an additional task assigned to the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the Clerk serves as the ex officio secretary of the Hancock County Election Board and clerk of the Board of Canvassers.

As Clerk of the Hancock County Courts, I and my staff are committed to delivering the highest level of service to residents of Hancock County, co-workers and guests of our office. The motto for the Hancock County Clerk’s office is a quote by Francis Bacon, “It is not what we profess, but what we practice that gives us integrity….” It is our desire that as we practice unselfish, unbiased team work, the office culture will be an atmosphere that will facilitate public trust.
