The mission of Probation is to provide necessary services to the offender toward reducing criminal/delinquent behavior while balancing the needs and ensuring the safety of the community. Probation is a program that requires a fundamental knowledge of the law, sentencing alternatives, human services, and community protection.

Prevention Specialists Duties

Preventing youths from being placed outside of their homes to the Department of Corrections or other facilities. Also to work with youths, families, and agencies when youths must be removed from their home.  Provide counseling and treatment resources to the community through probation services.
