Legal Aid

Legal Aid is available for those persons that qualify for this service. The Legal Aid meeting is held the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 4:30 p.m. on the first floor of the Hancock County Courthouse. Please keep in mind that the building closes at 4:00 p.m., therefore, please be inside the door before that time for the meeting.

***PLEASE NOTE - Legal Aid meeting times February - May, 2012 will be from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. ***

Applications for Legal Aid can be obtained prior to the meeting on the information table which is on the 2nd floor of the Hancock County Courthouse or by downloading the following form:

Legal Aid is handled by the Hancock County Bar Association.  Eligibility requirements can be found by following the link below.
