The Hancock County Superior Court 1 is a trial court of general jurisdiction. The types of cases which are heard by the court are serious felony criminal cases, divorces, juvenile delinquency and children in need of services cases, automobile accidents and other negligence actions, estates, foreclosures, and evictions. The court does not hear small claims cases or most traffic cases.
