Traffic Tickets

Traffic tickets are payable by cash, money order, company check, debit/credit cards, or cashier's check only. No personal checks are accepted. Be sure your name & address are clearly printed on your money order, or included with your cashier's check. You may even enclose a copy of your ticket which will help us to know where to apply the payment.

Your money order or cashier's check should be payable to:
Hancock County Clerk
9 East Main Street, Room 213
Greenfield, IN 46140

If you wish to pay with a debit or credit card you must have your court case number, the amount of your ticket, the name of the person who received the ticket, and the pay location code 6285. To make a payment call 1-888-604-7888 or log onto www.govpaynow.com. Keep in mind that when you pay a ticket using your debit or credit card there will be a service fee.

If you want a receipt returned to you, enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. If the officer has not turned your ticket in before you attempt to pay it, we can hold the money order. However, we can not hold cash.
